DTI is seeking a Scientist to develop creative and high-tech solutions to novel customer challenges working with a multi-disciplinary team of scientist and engineers. Your role will include the enhancement and amplification our advanced technologies, products and our line of PowerMod power supplies and modulators.

Work will encompass many of the following:  transistor RF systems, accelerator RF systems, switching power electronics, high voltage solid state systems.  Experience in these specific fields is not necessary but is desirable. Experience in the wide range of commercial and military project requirements is beneficial in this work.

Responsibilities:

• Work with DTI engineering and technical staff on multiple projects to find creative and high-tech solutions to novel customer challenges.
• Facilitate design decisions and oversee solutions including managing projects to ensure designs are implemented, fabricated, tested, documented and delivered.
• Transition technologies from Research & Development into products.

Requirements:

• Must have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to document designs as well as bring designs to fruition and market place.
• Experience managing projects to assure design decisions are made and production is implemented to achieve deliverables to our Clients, government or private.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills to successfully oversee electrical, mechanical and tech staff involved in achieving final deliverable.
• US Citizen or permanent resident

Education:     PhD
Experience:   10-15 years minimum
Travel:            Occasional travel to customer sites required (domestic and foreign)
