DTI is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. The work involves design, construction, and testing of specialized equipment for industrial and government applications. Experience in the wide range of commercial and military project requirements is beneficial in these applications. Familiarity with high-voltage vacuum-tubes, solid-state switch design, and high-voltage power conversion techniques is preferred. High voltage and radar experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• High-voltage, pulsed-power system and component design.
• Develop in-house and site acceptance test procedures.
• Testing populated circuit boards.
• Site test support.
• Documentation of design and test requirements.

Requirements:

• Analytical and hands-on skills required.
• Ability to working effectively in a multidisciplinary team consisting of scientists, engineers, technicians, machinists, and customers.
• Previous project management experience.
• Background in assembling and testing control panels and AC/DC, building prototypes and designing of systems.
• Coordination of system layout and drawings with other design disciplines is required.
• Candidate must be capable of supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to working effectively in a multidisciplinary team consisting of scientists, engineers, technicians, machinists, and customers.
• Self-guided and active team player.
• Must have excellent conceptual skills and be very detail oriented.
• US Citizen or permanent resident.

Education:    BSEE degree. (MS preferred)
Experience:  5+ years related work experience
Travel:           Occasional travel to customer sites required (domestic and foreign)
