ESS Klystron Production Test Stand (2019), A two page paper describing how DTI delivered a new long-pulse modulator klystron test stand to Communications and Power Industries (CPI) in Palo Alto, CA for full power testing of production VKP-8292A klystrons for the European Spallation Source (ESS). Daresbury Laboratory Short Pulse Klystron Modulators (2018) - A three page paper describing how DTI delivered three identical solid-state pulsed klystron transmitters to Daresbury Laboratory in the United Kingdom for the CLARA project. Solid-State Long Pulse Marx Modulator_(2012) - A three page paper, presented at the International Pulse Modulator High Voltage Conference, describing the implementation of the Marx topology to produce a long pulse modulator intended to be used as a test platform for International Linear Collider class klystrons. Modular Multipurpose Amplifier (2010) - A two page paper presented at the International Vacuum Electronics Conference describing a cost-reduced RF amplifier design that can produce outputs at different frequencies by changing the output tube and drive amplifier, while retaining common power supplies, communication, and controls. A Klystron Power System for the ISIS Front End Test Stand (2009) - A four page paper, presented at the Pulsed Power Conference, describing a DTI developed power system to drive a Toshiba E3740A klystron installed at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (UK) in December 2008. (134 kB)
Solid-State Tetrode Test Stand_(2009) - A three page paper describing a 500 kW DC test stand developed by DTI and installed at Burle Industries, Lancaster, PA. The test stand is used to evaluate tetrodes for the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory's (UK) ISIS system. (139 kB)

A Solid-State 2 MW Klystron Power Control System (2005)- A four page technical paper describing the use of DTI's technology in the development of a solid-state opening switch. The switch is part of a complete klystron power supply system delivered to the Advanced Photon Source at Argonne National Lab. This paper was presented at the Particle Accelerator Conference. (196kb)
A 500 kV Power System for a Gridded Sheet Beam Klystron (2004) - Four page paper describing DTI's design of the power electronics for the sheet beam klystron at SLAC. The electronics include a 500 kV multiplier power supply, a 10 kV grid modulator, a multi-concentric high voltage cable and an advanced, re-entrant interface between the cable and the klystron. Power Conversion
Undersea Medium Voltage DC (MVDC) Power Distribution System (2016) - A five page paper describing DTI's design of a high frequency DC-to-DC converter which takes MVDC from a shore station and down converts it to 375 VDC to power low voltage electronics on the ocean floor. Components of Heating and Fueling of Fusion Plasmas (2013) - A four page paper describing DTI's efforts to design a 'Buck Matrix' modulator, intended to power and protect gyrotrons from arcing in next generation fusion facilities.
